18O-CO2 exchange models for unicellular algae

These models are used to process 18O exchange data to determine the background rates of CO2 hydration and HCO3- dehydration in an assay solution (isox_uncat), the first order rate constants for passive CO2 and HCO3- influx into cells, and the rate constant for carbonic anhydrase catalzyed CO2  hydration inside the cell (isox_dark), and the activity of extracellular carbonic anhydrase (isox_eCA). The models and methods are described in Hopkinson et al. PNAS 2011, and Hopkinson et al. Plant Physiology 2013.

18O-CO2 exchange models for corals

The models below are used to determine coral extracellular carbonic anhydrase activity (as described in Tansik et al. 2015) and coral internal carbonic anhydrase activity (as described in Hopkinson et al. J Exp Biol 2015).
